LIP DRIPS - probably one of the more scandalous of illustrations I’ve created, which then leads one to believe I may be a puritan. I promise you, that is not the case. One of my earliest digitally-penned pieces that quickly became a favorite, clearly, as it landed itself the position of title image on Riley Also Writes - a true honor. We have branding partnership plans for her, as those lips could clearly be dripping with a craft beer or something even sweeter.

Can you tell this was written on a Monday? Notes from the universe (and for the universe) can be dark - but with art we can make them pretty, just like this. Sometimes you just have to lay it all out - and we like how this laid out. Poetry and prose deserve a little aesthetic attention, too. Already beautiful words can push passion further when you toss a little design into the mix. Nihilism, but make it cute. Says the nihilist.

Values work - we must credit the content to the enlightened Brene Brown for this one. Her list of core values brought light and order to me in a true low period and I thought it would be Nice and Cute to make a little art out of it. Sometimes the beginning is the most difficult part and, truly, we get it. Just say hello & we can start from there. I promise we won’t bite! Even a little lightening strike of an idea can turn into something great, as long as you have the right people on your team - and we’re pretty sure it’s us.
